Landlord fees and charges

We look to tailor our fees and charges depending on the Landlord’s requirements. As a general guide, below is a list of the fees and charges that may be incurred before, during and after a tenancy arranged by Property Inside London. The full details will be set out in our appointment letter

 

Commission

Let only: 10.0% plus VAT

Management only: 8.0% plus VAT

Let & management combined: 15.0% plus VAT

The commission is charged for the duration of the tenancy and any renewal or extension. Whilst landlords are able to move from let only/ management only to let and management, they are not able to move from let & management combined to let only

 

Additional fees

There are additional fees that will be payable including

Tenancy agreement fees (including up to two references): £180.00 plus VAT

Agreement renewing/ amending the tenancy agreement: £120.00 plus VAT

Service of notices upon the tenants: £90.00 incl VAT

Additional references: £50.00 incl VAT

Submission of non-resident landlord payments to HMRC: £30.00 incl VAT per payment

Issue of duplicate statement: £24.00 incl VAT

Preparing documents for the deposit scheme adjudicator: £60.00 incl VAT

Deposit registration fee: £72.00 incl VAT

Property attendance fee: £40.00 incl VAT per 15 minutes

Abortive tenancy/ withdrawal: fees and costs up to £1,600.00 incl VAT

Other work / services/ advice: typically charged at £200.00 per hour

 

Additional costs

As a landlord, you will be responsible for the third party fees and costs. The most common is the use of a third party company to prepare the inventory report at the start and end of the tenancy
